- 36% of Latinas live in states that have restricted medication abortion, including limits on telehealth, mailed abortion pills, and pharmacy access. Medication abortion is especially important for Latinas because it can reduce travel costs, childcare needs, lost wages, and exposure to immigration enforcement.
