NLIRH WELCOMES AWARD-WINNING LATINA ELIANNE RAMOS TO THEIR FAMILIA

Washington, D.C. — The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) is thrilled to welcome Elianne Ramos to the NLIRH familia. Elianne joins NLIRH as the Senior Director of Communications and Public Affairs. Known in her personal online persona as @ERGeekGoddess, Elianne is an award-winning, nationally recognized social entrepreneur and community advocate. She is widely considered one of the most influential Latinas in social media, being named 2017 Latina of Influence by Hispanic Lifestyle Magazine.

Elianne brings with her over two decades of experience in branding and marketing, digital integration, community organizing and advocacy, media relations, and outreach programs development. She has a history of success leading projects that raise civic participation, including collaborations with the White House, governmental institutions, and major civic-centered organizations. Prior to joining NLIRH, she held positions at the Hillary For America Campaign, Speak Hispanic Communications, Border Kids Relief Project, as well as in different capacities within the ad industry.

With her leadership skills and unwavering commitment to women’s rights and reproductive justice, Elianne will play a pivotal role in elevating the dialog on NLIRH’s critical issues by amplifying the voices of Latinas in the United States. For her, reproductive rights, immigrant rights, LGBTQ equality and public health are interrelated — individual pieces in the bigger fight for social justice.

NLIRH welcomes Elianne with open arms and looks forward to growing under her leadership.
