“We are outraged that the Senate voted for this Budget Reconciliation Bill. The Senate’s version of the bill is just as dangerous and devastating as the one passed by the House and attacks our communities’ health, dignity, and futures. This bill slashes the health care and programs like Medicaid that Latines rely on and blocks immigrant communities from getting the health care they need, while giving billions of dollars to support this administration’s cruel anti-immigrant agenda. Let it be very clear, instead of helping people stay healthy and safe, it puts our communities at risk only to serve the interests of the billionaires.”
