The Latina Institute works in partnership with other reproductive justice and Latino advocacy organizations to fight for equal access to reproductive health, dignity, and justice for everyone in our communities. Our partnerships include:

Intersections of Our Lives

Intersections of Our Lives is a collaborative effort by National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF), In Our Own Voice: National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda (In Our Own Voice), and National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice (the Latina Institute), three national reproductive justice organizations with both federal and statewide presence led by women of color. Intersections of Our Lives represents women of color focused on pushing forward a collective reproductive justice platform that seeks to address the intersecting issues that impact our reproductive health and rights. The collaborative has successfully rallied cross-movement support for key issues such as demanding equitable access to abortion and expanding im/migrants’ access to healthcare.

All* Above All

The Latina Institute is a member of All* Above All, a coalition of organizations and individuals created to build support for removing the bans that deny people coverage for abortion care. All* Above All was initially created with the goal of ending the Hyde Amendment. The Latina Institute and our All* Above All partners continue to educate policymakers on the disproportionate impact the Hyde Amendment and other abortion bans have on women of color.

National Hispanic Leadership Agenda (NHLA)

The Latina Institute is a member of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda (NHLA), a powerful coalition of over 40 leading national Latino civil rights and advocacy organizations. NHLA brings leaders together to establish policy priorities that address and raise public awareness of the major issues affecting our communities. Since joining NHLA, the Latina Institute has brought a critical gender justice lens to the coalition.
