POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Latina Institue seeks a Policy Analyst to help promote a federal policy agenda designed to protect the reproductive health and rights of Latinas/xs. The policy analyst will lead and be responsible for advancing policies that improve immigrant access to health care and coverage. As such, the policy analyst must have a deep understanding of complex public programs, projects and studies affecting our communities and be able to develop policy solutions that center our communities. The policy analyst must incorporate a reproductive health care lens when assessing the Latina Institute's engagement and promoting the Latina Instute's policy positions across issues pertaining to access to health care and coverage for immigrants. The policy analyst will be supervised and report to the Associate Director of Government Relations in our Washington, D.C. office. The person in this position will work as part of a dynamic team and in coalition with movement partners.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice (The Latina Institute) seeks a Florida State Manager. We are looking for a committed individual who is passionate about raising the voices of Latina/xs in Florida for change on issues that impact their lives, their dignity, and their health through grassroots organizing and policy advocacy. Reporting to the National Director of Field and Advocacy, the Latina Institute Florida State Manager will co-develop and help implement the strategy for the state to expand the grassroots movement for reproductive justice in Florida, focused in Miami-Dade County. They will oversee the day-to-day operations; manage the organizing, leadership development, and advocacy efforts; serve as the primary spokesperson for the state work; and cultivate and build relationships with key local and state stakeholders, partners, and elected officials. Candidates must have experience in developing and managing teams, day-to-day operations, community/issue-based organizing and campaigns, and a commitment to reproductive health and rights and/or social justice issues.

The analyst will lead and be responsible for the Sexual and Reproductive Health Care portfolio. As such, the Policy Analyst must have a deep understanding of complex public programs, projects and studies affecting our communities and be able to develop policy solutions that center our communities. The analyst must assess the Latina Institute’s engagement and promote the Latina Institute's policy positions across issues pertaining to abortion access and coverage, contraceptive equity, and the protection of reproductive and sexual health care in safety net health care programs and in the larger health care system. The analyst will be supervised and report to the Associate Director of Government Relations in our Washington, D.C. office. The person in this position will work as part of a dynamic team and in coalition with movement partners.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The role of the associate director of operations and technology position is designed to be a collaborative one and builds upon the collaborative culture within the departments and in the organization. The associate director will work report to the senior director of operations and finance and be responsible for the analysis, design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of all facets of technology and operational matters.  This position provides the strategy, leadership, and day-to-day management of operations, infrastructure, software, hardware, networks, and physical and cyber security at the national and state levels for the Latina Institute. They will be responsible for conveying instructions and sensitive information directly to all departments and staff. The clarity of these communications will determine how effectively tasks are executed in the department and throughout the Latina Institute.
