Job summary: Latina Institute seeks a bilingual (Spanish-English) digital organizer who is passionate about reproductive justice, social justice, and racial justice to help engage, mobilize, activate, and organize supporters, activists, and allies of Latina Institute. This person will help build the independent, progressive power of individuals through developing, leading, and executing campaigns and organizing drives that build our base of supporters, activists, and leaders for reproductive justice. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and independent, able to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage multiple projects at once. They should also have a commitment to supporting a sustainable, inclusive, and balanced workplace. The Digital Organizer reports directly to the National Director of Field and Advocacy.

Position Location: New York, Virginia, Florida, or Texas

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with National Director of Field and Advocacy on strategic goals to help build grassroots support for Latina institute’s reproductive justice work by organizing and managing online recruitment and base-building efforts.
  • Execute digital campaigns and events to grow online membership and engagement of our online supporters.
  • Develop strategies aimed at targeting, building, and retaining membership segments based on issues, campaigns, demographics, and other variables to deepen activism and engagement among members with specific interests.
  • Maintain a rigorous schedule of relational meetings to develop relationships with supporters and activists of Latina Institute expressing interest in Latina Institute national events, campaigns, or trainings.
  • Diligently input and manage the information of supporters and members and their leadership development in our database.
  • Track, design, and apply analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of tools and strategies.
  • Knowledge of EveryAction, PTP texting programs, Voter Activation Network (VAN), Salesforce, and Canva.
  • Collaborate with development staff to strengthen and broaden online fundraising.
  • Help produce creative content for Latina Institute’s social media sites.
  • Recommend and initiate new technologies and improvements to our work.
  • Support all Latina Institute endorsed campaigns.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • A sincere passion and commitment to social, economic, and racial justice/anti-racist principles and building power for working people.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with reproductive health, rights, and justice issues and frameworks.
  • Preferred: 1 to 3 years’ experience in digital organizing.
  • Experience with digital organizing tools and platforms.
  • Conversational Spanish is required. Knowledge of written Spanish a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge on data collection, analysis, and evaluation.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to learn, the ability to work hard with irregular hours, and the ability to work independently with guidance as well as within a team.
  • Proven organizing ability, and effectiveness engaging potential activists, supporters, institutional leaders, and current and prospective elected officials.

Salary: Latina Institute offers excellent benefits, including health insurance, professional development, vacation, and sick leave. Salary range $57,000 - $67,000 and will commensurate based on experience.
