The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) stands lockstep with our Black, Brown, AAPI and Native hermanxs to denounce police brutality, unfettered access to guns and all forms of violence.  NLIRH feels deeply the weight of the ongoing acts of violence and murder across the country and understands that all lives cannot matter until Black lives matter. Reproductive justice means being committed to dismantling all forms of oppression that deny health, dignity and justice to our communities and we hold true to that belief today and every day. Black cis and trans women should never have to fear losing a loved one to senseless gun violence and attacks fueled by racism, homophobia, transphobia and xenophobia.  At the heart of reproductive justice is a vision to create a world where our communities could not just survive, but thrive. NLIRH remains committed to working collectively across movements and in solidarity to achieve that vision.
