Education Manager


Dinorah Martinez serves as the Education Manager  for the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, where she is responsible for building the base of activists willing to take action on issues, developing community leadership, building relationships with key local, state and national stakeholders, and advancing civic engagement strategies.

Dinorah has collaborated as an activist and community leader with NLIRH and Texas LAN since 2011, educating Latinas in leadership and reproductive health topics and advocating for the rights of Latinas in RGV in Texas. Dinorah have been working in the development of her health skills in order to promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health by assisting individuals in communities to adopt better health behaviors in a professional way. She have been collaborating with other organizations in coaching CHW’s to obtain a state CHW certification. Within their extracurricular activities she works with an investigation project of Gastric Cancer Detection and the development of a diet free of pain in patients with gastrointestinal disorders in a Public Hospital in Reynosa, Tamaulipas Mexico.

Dinorah holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Medicine from an accredited University in Mexico. Previously, she graduated with an Associate Degree in Family Counseling.
